A Conversation on Navigating Practical Realities in Carbon Markets
Climate DC is hosting a series of climate-focused small group conversations for folks to get to know each other better and dive deep on climate topics of interest!
Join Climate DC community members Melaina Rochefort-Dyck, Joan Abbott, Riccardo Serbolonghi, and Pablo Nuñez on Sunday, June 14th for a peer-to-peer discussion on the changing operational realities of global carbon markets.
Topic: We are meeting at a particularly challenging juncture for compliance and voluntary carbon markets. While the long-term demand signals remain clear, the immediate landscape is defined by buyer hesitation and a chilling effect on new corporate procurement commitments. We look forward to discussing how to navigate this current moment and what it means for project pipeline viability.
Come ready to share what you’re working on, the bottlenecks you’re facing, and your perspective on where the market is headed.
This is open to all folks working within or adjacent to the carbon markets space -- from project developers to policy experts to buyers.
Please Note: Because this is an intimate conversation with limited capacity, please treat your RSVP as a commitment to attend so we can ensure a balanced mix of industry perspectives.
