About Event

Join us for a private, midday coffee experience for CISOs and security executives, held in the middle of OWASP Global AppSec USA week.

We’ve bought out The Lore, an intimate tasting salon in a historic building in San Francisco’s Financial District, for a guided coffee omakase and lunch with a small group of peers. No pitches, no presentations. Just exceptional coffee, great food, and good company.

What to expect

  • 11:00am, Arrival and welcome

  • Guided cupping with Komakase. Kieran, co-founder of Komakase and a certified Q Grader, walks the group through tasting coffee the way professionals do, across aroma, acidity, body, sweetness, and finish. Komakase’s coffee omakase has been featured in the SF Chronicle, The Infatuation, and Food & Wine.

  • Tableside pour-overs. Each guest gets three specialty pour-overs, brewed by hand in front of them.

  • 12:00pm, Lunch from Chef Seth Stowaway. The former chef of Michelin-starred Osito serves a vegetarian buffet lunch from The Lore’s kitchen.

  • 1:00pm, Wrap.

Good to know

  • Seating is limited to 20 guests. Request your spot ASAP as this will fill up. Confirmed attendees will receive a confirmation shortly. Event full? Request a spot on the waitlist and we'll let you know if a spot opens up!

  • Getting there: The Lore is about a 5-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, conference hotel of OWASP Global AppSec.

  • Food and drink: Lunch is fully vegetarian. Coffee and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

  • Accessibility: The salon is one floor up and accessible only by stairs. Let us know if you have any accessibility needs.
