About Event

As AI capabilities advance rapidly, which safety priorities matter most? SCAI 2025 identified key technical research directions for the field, yielding the “The Singapore Consensus on Global AI Safety Research Priorities”. Now Concordia AI, Safe AI Forum and the Singapore AI Safety Hub, with support from IMDA, are gathering diverse voices to evaluate what's working, what's missing, and what needs to change.

Why attend:

  • Influence research priorities that will guide funding and policy decisions across the world

  • Connect with researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working on AI safety

  • Contribute your unique perspective - whether you're familiar with the original consensus or encountering it for the first time

What we'll do:

  • Context setting: Quick overview of the Singapore Consensus and its impact so far

  • Reality check: What's changed since 2025? Which priorities remain urgent and which need updating?

  • Collaborative deep-dive: Small group discussions on emerging challenges and overlooked areas

  • Priority mapping: Collectively identify what the next iteration should emphasize

Who is invited: Technical researchers, policy specialists, industry practitioners, ethicists, and concerned stakeholders actively working across the field of AI. Prior familiarity with the consensus is not required.

Come ready to question assumptions, share perspectives, and help build consensus on what matters most.
