Claude Cowork Workshop: Automate Your Tasks at Work
An evening workshop for non-technical professionals. No code, no prior experience.
Every team has work that repeats. The same weekly report pulled from the same six files. The same reformatting. The same forty minutes, every Monday, from someone whose time is worth considerably more than that.
Claude Cowork is built for this. You do not copy answers out of a chat window. You hand over the whole job, files and all, and it does the work.
This is a working session, not a talk. You leave having automated one real task of your own.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Managers and directors who do not write code and do not intend to. Ops, finance, marketing, legal, consulting, founders, chiefs of staff. If you have ever looked at a recurring task and thought there must be a better way to do this every month, that is the thought to bring.
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
Engineers who want a deep dive on agent architecture. You will be bored. Come to the hackathon instead.
HOW THE NIGHT RUNS
First, what Claude Cowork actually is. What it does, what it does not do, and why it is different from typing into a chat box. Plain English, about 20 minutes.
Then the training. Andrew walks the room through it step by step while you follow along on your own laptop. By the end you will have run your first job yourself.
Then one real problem, solved live. We take a task submitted by someone in the room and work it end to end, from messy input to finished output.
WHAT TO BRING
A laptop. A Claude account. And one real task from your week: recurring, tedious, currently eating 30 minutes or more. You submit it when you register. We pick one to solve live on the night.
