The Legal Lab (Fundraising Webinar with Goodwin)
Fundraising comes with its fair share of fine print - and this session is about making sense of it.
Hosted in partnership with Goodwin, Legal Office Hours is your chance to sit down with startup legal experts who’ve seen it all: term sheets, shareholder agreements, founder vesting, investor rights, and everything in between. We’ll walk through the core documents you’ll encounter in your raise, what they actually mean, and where to pay attention before you sign.
This is your opportunity to ask questions, get clarity, and understand how to protect your position without slowing down your deal.
We’ll cover:
The anatomy of a term sheet - what really matters
Red flags to watch for in investor documents
How to balance founder protection with investor trust
Preparing for due diligence and closing confidently
No jargon. No judgement. Just real, practical insight from Goodwin’s experts to help you make smart legal decisions as you raise.
