CLETechWeek26 Build an AR Business Card with AI
Your business card gets a glance and a pocket. What if it got a reaction instead?
In this hands-on workshop, hosted by the Cleveland Institute of Art and the VR/AR Association Ohio Chapter as part of Cleveland Tech Week, you'll build a working augmented reality business card from start to finish. No XR experience required.
This session is an introduction to using AI to build for XR. Starting from an open source GitHub repo, we'll use an AI-enabled IDE to customize the project with a 3D model of your choice, generate your own QR code, and get it running on your phone. By the end, you'll walk out with:
A functional AR business card featuring the 3D model you picked
A QR code you can paste onto any business card you already use
Your own fork of the project, ready for further customization after the workshop
We'll be working in Google Antigravity, an agent-first IDE that handles 3D work especially well. Already have an AI-enabled IDE you like? Bring it. The workflow carries over.
Who it's for: Designers, developers, product managers, and anyone in product who's curious about XR and wants to see how AI can shorten the path from idea to working prototype.
What to bring: A laptop if you have one, plus a smartphone to test your card. A limited number of devices will be available on site if you don't have a laptop.

Create a free GitHub account (you'll need it to fork the repo)
Download Google Antigravity and sign in with a Google account, or have your preferred AI IDE ready
