ANZ After Hours - Neurotech Fireside Chat with Blackbird and Coherence
A monthly get-together for Aussies and Kiwis at Stanford, hosted by Stanford Australia and New Zealand Club and supported by Blackbird.
Once a month, we’ll come together over food and drinks for a candid conversation with the most ambitious Aussies and Kiwis in the Bay Area. A new guest each time, with the same great crowd.
This month, we’re joined by Elise Jenkins, founder of Coherence Neuro and Blackbird Partner Michael Tolo.
Coherence is developing a brain implant that can detect and respond to cancer using electrical signals - and has just begun the world’s first human trial in Melbourne. We’ll talk about building at the frontier of neuroscience, taking a brain implant from idea to human trials, and the journey between Australia and San Francisco. Followed by plenty of time for questions, food and catching up!
When: Saturday 24th of October, [TIME TBC]
Where: TBA (on Stanford campus)
See you there!
