Community Dinner #1: "On Learning"
You asked, we listened...
irid is a Toronto-based experimental community & school for artists and lost intellectuals... and this fall, it's hosting its first dinner party with our friends at 1RG!
We invite you to sit down with us over warm bowls of home-cooked food, cheap wine and enjoy a stimulating guided conversation with our community. This is a perfect way to dip your toe in the project if you were one of the many folks who wanted to take a course this fall, but couldn't make the time!
Dinner will be vegetarian and include vegan and gluten-free options. Dessert and wine will also be available.
Admission is free for current enrolled students and members of 1RG, but regular tickets are 30$ to offset the cost of running the event. If you are interested, get your tickets early, because admissions are hard-capped due to the space.
Please note: this is a semi-facilitated conversation party, our interpretation of a symposium on the topic "What is learning?" Come prepared to share and listen to stories of lifelong learning, be them light, odd or off-the-wall — and to meet some curious, earnest new folks.
The dress code is "museum date."
Doors open & dinner will be available starting at 6:30; kickoff for our facilitated conversation will begin promptly at 7.
If cost is a barrier, or if you have questions about this event (including specific dietary restrictions or requests), please email teach@irid.space!
Lastly, please see irid.space for up-to-date opportunities for class enrollments, or keep informed in general by subscribing to our newsletter and following us on instagram @irid.space.
