Munich Hardware Meetup
AI-Designed PCBs & Smart EMS Wearables
We’re excited to welcome you to the next Munich Hardware Meetup!
This time, we’re exploring two very different sides of hardware innovation: wearable technology that stimulates muscles and AI agents that can design electronic circuits and PCBs.
We’ll hear from a founder bringing advanced EMS technology into everyday fitness and an embedded engineer exploring how AI is changing hardware development.
Join us for an evening of real-world engineering insights, practical experiences, and networking with fellow founders, engineers, and hardware enthusiasts in Munich.
Guest Speakers
Emilia von Keyserlingk
Founder & CEO, PEPPER
Talk: Making Muscles Move — The Technology Behind PEPPER’s EMS Wearable
Emilia is the founder and CEO of PEPPER, a Munich-based fitness-tech startup developing wireless electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) suits combined with an interactive training app.
She holds a master’s degree from the Technical University of Munich and previously worked in technology and strategy consulting at Accenture and PwC before founding PEPPER in 2021.
In her talk, Emilia will introduce the technology behind PEPPER’s EMS training system and share the journey of transforming electrical muscle stimulation into a wearable consumer product — combining electronics, software, and product design to make advanced fitness technology accessible at home.
Rostyslav Spoliak
Founder, Cybed GmbH
Talk: AI Agents Can Now Design Good PCBs. Are Hardware Designers Obsolete?
Rostyslav is an embedded systems engineer with over a decade of experience developing embedded software and electronics. He is the founder of Cybed GmbH, a Munich-based engineering company specializing in embedded systems and connected devices.
He has been using AI agents to dramatically reduce PCB development time and automate the entire hardware design workflow — from component selection and schematic design to PCB layout, design verification, and generating production-ready manufacturing files.
In his talk, Rostyslav will share his practical experience using AI agents for PCB development, demonstrate what they can already achieve, explore their limitations, and discuss a provocative question: If AI can design hardware, what is the future role of hardware engineers?
