Does creativity mean what it used to? Agentic design systems and the role humans play
An agent can turn a prompt into a working interface in minutes, making prototyping easier than ever. Getting designers, engineers, and AI to build from the same system, and trust what comes out, is much harder.
As execution speeds up, agent-ready design systems still depend on the creative foundation that humans set. An agent is only as good as the design system it reads.
There’s no single route to building one, either. Some teams can start small, with agent-ready components for part of a journey. Others need to do the deeper work of evolving the core system first.
Join ustwo at our Shoreditch studio for a panel discussion with:
Domingo Widen, Principal Product Designer at Fin
Kostas Penlidis, Global Design Systems Lead at Remitly
Amelia Marriott, Lead Design Systems Consultant, working with Savills
Moderated by Kim Lawrie, ustwo's Head of Tech
We’ll cover:
The different routes to an agent-ready system and the foundations you need to get right
How brand, trust and accessibility shape your approach
Where design, engineering and product teams need to work differently
Alasdair Blackwell, our Principal Engineer, will live demo our Agent-ready Design System toolkit, bringing to life the questions these new tools pose for product teams.
You’ll leave knowing where to start and which approach fits your users and the complexity of your business.
