Literary Agent Pitch Slam with Agents Malaga Baldi and Iris Blasi

​Writers, are you looking for literary representation for your memoir or memoir in essays? Join Open Secrets Magazine for a Zoom literary agent pitch slam with Malaga Baldi, owner of Baldi Agency, and Iris Blasi, literary agent at Arc Literary Management. The agents will also be sharing their advice for how to make your book proposal stand out and what makes a compelling and sellable memoir or essay collection.

​Join us for a Q&A limited to 30 guests, where participants will get brief feedback on their book ideas. Once you register, you may submit a one-page, 250-word maximum description of your book by June 21 at 11:59 pm ET for feedback from one of our literary agents by sending it to [email protected] with "Pitch slam" in the subject line.

​Don’t have a detailed book proposal or idea yet, you are still welcome to join the pitch slam. You can send in as detailed and specific or broad of an idea as you have, or simply attend and ask questions relevant to your book (as time permits) and hear what the agents have to say about the other book ideas. Responses to each specific book idea will be brief to ensure all participants receive feedback from one of our agents.
