APRE Curatorial Symposium 2026
Over the past four years, APRE Art House has been actively building the infrastructure for curatorial practice in India. From Front Matter, our intensive curatorial programme, to the APRE Curatorial Directory, WARC+ and our continuing programmes of research, mentorship and exchange, APRE has created platforms that connect curators, artists, writers and institutions while supporting the development of new curatorial voices. The APRE Curatorial Symposium builds on this body of work.
The APRE Curatorial Symposium is an initiative of APRE Art House, developed as part of Front Matter.
For the inaugural 2026 edition, APRE has invited Dastāvez Collective to develop the conceptual framework and facilitate the programme.
Ed. 01 Title: Maps and Mirrors: Index to Curation
As curatorial practice continues to expand across disciplines, institutions and geographies, these questions demand renewed attention. This edition takes as its point of departure the relationship between organisation of knowledge and production of its meaning.
