Thousands of languages are spoken across the world, yet only a handful are well-represented in AI. The result? Applications that underperform, and entire communities left out of the benefits of modern AI.
The SEA-LION team from AI Singapore and Adaption are working to change that. Join us to learn how they're improving multilingual AI by tackling one of the field's biggest challenges: building high-quality datasets for low-resource languages. Using Southeast Asia as a proving ground, they'll share the technical and collaborative efforts behind developing more inclusive language models.
