About Event

Most AI products die in the gap between a demo that impresses and a company that gets funded. Investors see thousands of the former every year; only a fraction clear the second bar.

In this talk, Allen Liu draws on what SVTR has tracked across more than 10,000 AI startups to lay out what actually separates the two: how founders find a wedge that survives contact with real users, what early traction convinces investors the thing is a business, and the failure patterns that show up again and again in decks that don't get a second meeting.

Allen is the founder and curator of SVTR and an investor at PK Capital. Through SVTR he tracks AI companies and connects founders with investors and industry partners in Silicon Valley and beyond.

Come if you are building something, thinking about building something, or want a clearer picture of how AI companies get funded right now. Students, researchers, and early-stage founders are all welcome.
