The Forward Loop, a session by SheCode.ai, brings together education, technology, civil society and diaspora stakeholders to explore how African women and girls can move from technology users to creators, entrepreneurs and institutional leaders.
What to expect A moderated breakfast salon, a practical SheCode.ai demonstration and focused audience contributions on digital skills and credentials, devices and meaningful connectivity, responsible AI, safeguarding, mentorship, employment and entrepreneurship.
What we aim to achieve The session will seek to establish at least three partnership pathways and record partner contributions, focal persons and next steps in The Forward Loop New York Action Compact.

Who should attend Women technology leaders, educators, researchers, policymakers, companies, civil society organisations, foundations, diaspora professionals, mentors and young innovators. Expected audience: 35–50 participants.
Organisers SheCode.ai (session lead), Defence Futures Lab and Kryterion Limited (strategic conveners), with the Federal Ministry of Defence, Nigeria, as institutional anchor of the wider Nigeria at the Nexus programme.
Participation Registration is free and subject to approval. This registration covers The Forward Loop only; access to other Nigeria at the Nexus sessions is separately arranged.
The Forward Loop is independently organised on the margins of UNGA 81. It is not an official United Nations or UN-endorsed event.
