BTS: Behind the Scenes
Jeewon Kim Serrato, founder of The K-University, is bringing an evening that starts with a question: what does it actually take to turn a cultural moment into a global system?
Using BTS as a business case study, Jeewon will unpack how a movement becomes infrastructure: from ARMY to HYBE, from fandom to platform, from artists to a global IP ecosystem.
Co-hosted by Hwanghah at Jilli SF, a small, carefully curated San Francisco space, this is a private gathering over shareable Korean inspired tapas and makgeolli, assembled with intention.
The Evening
6:00 – 6:30 — Tapas & Networking. Makgeolli tasting with BTS music.
6:30 – 7:00 — The talk by Jeewon Serrato. How HYBE structured its IP, how ARMY became a self-sustaining growth engine, how global expansion was built on hyper-local identity — and what that means for anyone trying to build something that lasts. A curated, guided exercise to put the night's ideas to work and meet the people thinking alongside you.
7:00 – 8:00 — Networking.
