

Our favourite poems — a special Christmas event
In my opinion this is the best event of the year! The idea is simple — people read their favorite poems in their mother tongue. At past sessions we've had poems in Chinese, Russian, Persian, Urdu and others, as well as of course Spanish, Catalan and English.
Here's how it works:
Choose a favorite poem or two, something not too long (or where you can read just a section). The poem should be in your mother-tongue.
Send the poem or extract to me ([email protected]) and I'll add it to a presentation of all the poems.
Be prepared to read it aloud and to explain what it means to you.
If you just want to come along but don't want to read a poem, that's fine too.
Bring wine/beer/drinks/food/snacks and Christmassy things if you want to.
