Hosted at PARC, it’s a space for heartfelt conversations that inspire connection — where local voices come together to share experiences, spark collaboration, and imagine what’s next for our hometown.
At its heart, Subang Stories is about belonging. It’s about everyday heroes who turn small actions into meaningful change, building a stronger, more vibrant Subang Jaya for everyone who lives, works, and dreams here.
BTW, there will be tea provided by the wonderful Beng Beng Sourdough
See you all soon.
Meet Our Panelists
Matt Chung
Matt Chung is the co-founder of HeySubang, a community platform dedicated to bringing people closer together by curating local happenings and championing community-led initiatives — including the well-loved Subang Jaya & USJ Food Discovery group.
Having been part of the Subang scene since his INTI Subang Jaya days, Matt’s journey took him from Shenzhen back to his hometown, where he’s now building a life with his wife (a proud born-and-bred Subang girl) and their young son. For Matt, Subang isn’t just a place on the map — it’s home. He’s passionate about helping the city grow into one that future generations can proudly call their own.
Annie Yong
Annie Yong is the founder of The Malaysia Stamp Hunt Community, a platform that centralises and organises stamp rally information across Malaysia. What began as a personal hobby during her first stamp hunt in Taiwan in 2018 soon evolved into a community project after she noticed how scattered and hard-to-find local stamp locations were.
By profession, Annie is an international school Chemistry teacher teaching IGCSE. She blends her love for structure and learning with her passion for building community. Connected to Subang Jaya through family since 1992 and calling it home since 2016, Annie continues to foster curiosity and joy through her initiative, encouraging people to explore and rediscover the beauty of the places around them.
