I am pleased to invite you to our next Delphi Network monthly Cocktails on Tuesday, March 31.
We will be hosting at the iconic Oak Door Bar at the Grand Hyatt.
For those who have been in the market long enough, you will remember this room, with its trademark rectangular bar-counter, as the undisputed hub of the gaishikei financial sector right up until 2008, crammed with euphoric young traders making far too much money, and a marked "demi-monde" atmosphere.
Today, it is once more a fitting venue to gather the current generation of Tokyo's top operators, albeit in a more spartan and ascetic form...
There is no formal agenda or presentation. This is simply a dedicated time to meet your peers and start building the relationships which will "armour" you for the unrelenting demands of life and business in Japan.

Location: The Oak Door Bar, Grand Hyatt Tokyo (Roppongi)
Drinks: We have secured a free-flow option for ¥4,500 per person.
A note on attire: March 31 puts us right at peak sakura season. However, Tokyo evenings at this time of year are famous for hana-bie (the "cherry blossom cold"). Much like the traditional Japanese wardrobe shift to a light silk haori coat for spring evenings, a light jacket or cotton jumper is recommended.
