Edmonton Unlimited is excited to welcome the Government of Canada's Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) as they take over our Community Coffee! Joining us is Luis Ernesto Gonzalez from the TCS Mexico City office, representing the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program.
Are you a tech startup or scaleup looking to break into international markets? Whether you're actively exploring international expansion or just starting to think about it, come learn how the CTA can accelerate your path to global markets — or simply stop by to connect with fellow innovators in the Edmonton community.
Stay for the whole morning, or pop in just to say hello — either way, we'd love to see you there!
The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is a Government of Canada program that helps Canadian businesses succeed in international markets. With a network of trade commissioners posted in over 160 cities worldwide, the TCS connects Canadian companies with local expertise, business contacts, and market intelligence to support export growth, foreign investment, and global innovation partnerships.
The Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) helps high-potential Canadian tech startups and scaleups break into key international markets. Through a cohort-based model, the CTA embeds Canadian companies into leading global tech hubs — such as Silicon Valley, New York, London, and Mexico City — providing them with mentorship, workspace, networking opportunities, and direct access to investors, customers, and partners. The program is designed to accelerate market entry and help Canadian innovators compete and grow on the world stage.
Thanks to Alberta Innovates for fueling our Community Coffee events!
