International Women's Day ⊚ Inner Circle ⊚

​PSA: This is probably more of an open letter, than an event description...

At Founders Edge (a solo-male-run team) we can’t say we completely understand the female founder experience. Still, we recognise that International Women’s Day can mean different things to different people. For us, it’s an opportunity to create space for meaningful, supportive, inclusive conversation within the startup ecosystem.

We want to make Founders Edge a community where Female Founders not only feel comfortable, but can really make it their own. It's important to us that this event is done right, so we’ve spent time consulting with women across the industry, to ensure it is run in a respectful and valuable manner and we're pretty happy with the event these conversations have led to.

This IWD we’re hosting an International Women's Day ⊚ Inner Circle ⊚ We’re bringing together a Brains Trust of four experienced industry leaders across the startup ecosystem for to have a spotlight conversation with emerging female founders. Each will get a 10-minutes to talk through their journey, their wins, their struggles, and get honest, experience-backed assistance to help them move forward with their endeavours.

The goal isn’t to serve fluffy inspiration, hate on men, or pull a performative promotion. It’s about hearing stories, offering support, and celebrating a part of our community that we think is truly worth celebrating.
