Negative Space: Figure Drawing w/ a Live Model
Negative Space is a monthly figure art session for adults who want to practice artmaking with a live model.
Negative Space is an event (not a class) that features a live model. If you're looking for a supportive environment to improve your skills at drawing from life—this is it. All skill levels are welcome!
The model will perform a variety of poses, both short and long, nude and clothed. The session will start with warm-up poses and continue with longer poses, along with short breaks.
Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies, but we will provide: pencils, charcoal, pastels, markers, and a variety of multi-media papers.
Participants will leave with their sketches and new connections.
This event is 18+ as it features a nude model.
Participants must be there to draw; no observers are allowed. We expect attendees to respect the models by not taking photos or touching them.
