About Event

Founder × Builder #001 — Bangalore

Find the people to build your next thing with.

Founders have ideas. Builders turn them into products.

But finding the right people to build with is hard.

Founder × Builder #001 is a full-day, curated gathering in Bangalore bringing together founders, engineers, designers, product builders, researchers, students, and ambitious people looking for their next project, startup, or collaboration.

This isn't a traditional networking event.

We're not here to collect business cards or add hundreds of people to LinkedIn.

We're creating a room where you can meet people, understand what they're building, find complementary skills, exchange ideas, and potentially discover the person you want to build your next thing with.

Whether you already have a startup, are exploring an idea, are looking for a co-founder, want to join an early-stage project, or simply want to meet ambitious builders — you're welcome.

🗓️ The Day

10:00 AM — Doors Open & Check-in

Start the day with coffee, introductions, and informal conversations.

Get your attendee badge and settle in before the main program begins.

10:30 AM — Welcome to Founder × Builder

We'll kick things off with a short introduction to the community and what we're trying to create.

We'll cover:

  • Why we're bringing founders and builders together

  • How the day will work

  • How the matchmaking process works

  • How to get the most out of the event

The goal is simple: don't just meet people — find people you could actually build with.

11:00 AM — Who's Building What?

Everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves.

Keep it simple:

Who am I?
What am I building?
What am I looking for?

Founders can share their startups or ideas.

Builders can share their skills, interests, and the kind of projects they want to work on.

This gives everyone a clear picture of who's in the room.

12:00 PM — Founder & Builder Matchmaking

Now we start connecting people based on what they're looking for.

Looking for a technical co-founder?

Building an AI product and need an engineer?

A developer looking for a startup to join?

A designer looking for an interesting product?

This is where you start finding the right conversations.

We'll organize smaller groups based on skills, interests, ideas, and complementary needs.

1:00 PM — Lunch & Open Networking

Take a break, grab some food, and continue the conversations.

No formal agenda.

Find someone interesting and talk.

2:00 PM — Build Together

This is where the event gets practical.

Participants will form small groups around ideas, problems, and projects that emerged during the morning.

You could:

  • Validate a startup idea

  • Design a product

  • Build a prototype

  • Solve a technical problem

  • Explore a business opportunity

  • Find a potential co-founder

  • Work on an existing project

Don't just talk about what you could build. Start building it.

3:15 PM — Builder Break

Coffee, snacks, and a short reset.

Use this time to step away from your group, meet someone new, or continue a conversation from earlier.

3:45 PM — Demo & Pitch Session

Teams and individuals get the opportunity to share what they came up with during the day.

Short demos.

Early prototypes.

Startup ideas.

Interesting problems.

Unexpected collaborations.

You don't need a polished product.

Show us what you built, explored, or figured out.

4:30 PM — Final Networking & Connections

One final opportunity to connect with the people you've met throughout the day.

Exchange contact details, continue conversations, and make plans for what happens after the event.

Because the goal isn't for everything to end at 5 PM.

The real collaboration starts after you leave.

5:00 PM — Wrap-up

We'll close out the first edition of Founder × Builder.

We'll hear a few quick reflections from attendees and share what's coming next for the Foundry & Loop community.

Who should attend?

🚀 Founders

Building a startup, exploring an idea, or looking for your next venture.

💻 Engineers & Developers

AI/ML, full-stack, frontend, backend, mobile, infrastructure, DevOps, and more.

🎨 Designers

Product designers, UX/UI designers, brand designers, and creative builders.

🧠 Product Builders

People who love turning problems into products and products into businesses.

🔬 Researchers

People exploring new technologies, AI, machine learning, and emerging ideas.

🌱 Students & Early Builders

You don't need a company, a resume full of achievements, or a finished product.

If you have the curiosity and ambition to build, you belong here.

What you might leave with

🤝 A potential co-founder
💻 Your next engineering collaborator
🎨 A product/design partner
🚀 An early-stage startup opportunity
🧠 A technical advisor
💡 A validated startup idea
🛠️ A project you actually started
🌐 A new network of ambitious builders

Or simply one person you wouldn't have met otherwise who changes what you build next.

This isn't a conference.

There won't be hours of sitting in an audience listening to presentations.

There won't be endless panels.

And there definitely won't be awkward “go around the room and exchange LinkedIn profiles” networking.

You're here to participate.

Bring your laptop.

Bring an idea.

Bring a project.

Bring a problem.

Bring your skills.

Or just bring your curiosity.

We'll take care of the rest.
