Cookbook Club: Baby, It’s Cold Outside
When it’s too cold to go out, we bake. Join us for a baking-focused, potluck-style afternoon where we trade recipes, stories, and a little kitchen magic.
What to bring:
Bring a homemade dish to share with the group
Print at least 15 printed copies of your recipe.
As we feast, we’ll swap recipes, and by the end of the night, you’ll head home with a mini cookbook filled with everyone’s creations.
No access to a printer? Email your recipe to [email protected] BEFORE NOV 10, and we’ll print copies for you.

We’re also using this Cookbook Club as a chance to give back to our community.
Alongside sharing good food and great company, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank, the Parkdale Community Food Bank.
If you’re able, we’d love for you to bring something to contribute, canned goods, pasta, rice, or any shelf-stable items are all appreciated.
When you’re out shopping for the ingredients for your dish, consider adding an extra item or two to your basket.
It’s a small gesture, but together, we can make a meaningful difference for people in need, and what better way to celebrate the joy of food than by sharing it beyond our table?
