Nurturing the Nurturer: Self Care for Moms
Being a mom is a full-time job, and finding time and space to care for yourself can often be hard.
Muslim Women Meetup and Canadian Muslim Counselling are coming together for a thoughtful workshop focused on self-care and wellbeing in motherhood. Facilitated by Registered Psychologist Maryam Adham, MC, we’ll explore what it can look like to make space for yourself, care for your emotional wellbeing, and find balance while navigating the many roles that come with being a mother.
Come take a pause, reflect, and connect with other Muslim mothers in a warm and supportive space. Light refreshments will be provided, and limited childcare will be available.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
Photos and videos will be taken during the event for social media. Children will NOT be filmed. By signing up, you are consenting to be photographed and/or filmed. If you are not comfortable being photographed or filmed, please reach out to the organizers in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
