Event Overview
An Autumn Gathering for Builders
As generative AI enters its fourth autumn since the launch of ChatGPT, new models, products and teams continue to emerge. Greater access to technology is expanding the possibilities for creators, and more developers are bringing their work to real users and exploring opportunities in global markets.
The 2026 Shanghai Open Source Software Application Innovation Competition is approaching its Grand Final, bringing developers and their projects together in Shanghai.
As projects move from code and prototypes to real users—and from a single showcase to broader markets—many questions remain to be explored. We hope to extend these conversations beyond the competition: to share experience, find partners, and examine how commercialization can sustain creativity and drive lasting change.
OSCHINA and Praxis will host “From Open Source Innovation to Global Growth” in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, and officially launch OPENLAND.
The program will explore growth, showcase promising projects, and discuss how AI products can earn users’ trust. In the evening, founders and practitioners will share what they have tried, changed and learned along the way.
