A Taxonomy of American Social Dance
What Do You Know? is a monthly talk series based on the premise that everyone knows something that everyone else doesn't. You've lived a life that is unique to you, and your experience has taught you something unique. We believe your unique knowledge is untapped and if harvested can promote stronger, healthier, more intelligent and more prolific communities. What Do You Know? Please teach us!
Talks are not restricted by format and accommodations can be made for things like projectors, audio/video equipment, etc. If you would like to present, please email chris@blickenterprises.co and we will get your presentation scheduled.
If you have friends who you think would be interested please invite them. We meet every last Sunday of the month at 11am at Sanitas Brewing Company in Boulder
Featured presenter for this Sunday June 29th:
McKenzie Watson-Fore, a Boulder-based artist and writer, will be drawing on her ten-plus years of social dance experience to teach A Taxonomy of American Social Dance. For anyone who's ever been curious about taking up Argentine tango, the difference between line dancing and square dancing, or what on earth Appalachian flatfooting refers to, look no further! Attendees will not be required to dance. You can keep up with McKenzie on instagram @krazykenzer14.
