She is neither virgin nor vulnerable — she is the force of attraction itself, the spark that draws lover to lover, artist to medium, idea to idea. Her symbols speak her nature: the seashell she rides from the waves, the rose and the myrtle for love's fragrance, the dove for tenderness, the mirror for the beauty that looks back, the golden apple for the prize of desire, the girdle that makes its wearer irresistible. She is the goddess of the creative act — the union that gives birth to something new. Let's explore together the world of Aphrodite through creative practice.
