🧊 Vancouver Builders Chill Club

​Come chill with local builders at the IcePanel HQ.

​Tl;dr

​This event is a non-serious hangout for human connection. You'll gain friendships with like-minded people in the Metro Vancouver area who also love building products.

​What will happen? A few reverse demos* to showcase what local folk are working on, competitive games and some food.

​*A reverse demo is someone else showing off your product. It's as awkward but cool as it sounds

​Who will be there?

​What to expect?

• ​🧑‍🏫 Reverse demos:

  • ​1 min intro | 5 min show | 5 min feedback/Q&A

  • ​Someone else will show your product - This is a great way to get genuine, unscripted feedback on using your product.

  • ​REAL working demos please - NO pitch decks

• ​⚽️ Foosball tournament

  • ​Prizes to be won!

• ​🎮 Other games

  • ​Mario Kart

  • ​Klask

  • ​Card/Board games, etc.

  • ​Bring your own game if you want to teach others a new game!

  • ​Dietary requirements? Let us know at least a week beforehand. Otherwise, as my Mum would say, "you'll get what you're given."

​Why are we doing this?

​Short answer: Fun.

​We continue to advance in amazing technology, but we feel we're also becoming distant from each other as humans... We want to create a group of local builders in Vancouver who get to connect, share, open up, and have a laugh together. What's the point otherwise?!

​This is a semi-regular event, and you'll hopefully leave with closer connections with local builders you get to see in & out of these events.
