Breaking Through Policy Barriers Summit
A half-day summit to learn from those who have broken the barriers between public transit and mobility options. Bridging the first/last mile gaps and discovering the policy obstacles, battles, and best practices to facilitate and implement these programs. Hear insights from S.F. Vision Zero, S.F. Bicycle Coalition, Crewz Carpool, Ridepands, and several more. The summit will conclude with a bike or public transit tour. The day will conclude with a social networking hour.
This year, we are focused on policy. Policy can either make or break beneficial commuter resources and programs. At this Summit, we will listen and learn from several TDM Professionals who have faced policy obstacles to bridge the first- and last-mile gaps between public transit and mobility options. They will share their best practices and expertise on how they facilitated and implemented programs that had a profound impact on the daily commuter.
