​The age of the builder is here — and it’s more accessible than ever.

​On International Women’s Day, Lovable’s SheBuilds is hosting events around the world focused on access, confidence, and real creation. In Barcelona, we’re organizing a hands-on building event where participants will actively turn their ideas into working applications using Lovable.

​This is not a panel or a regular meetup. It’s a working session. Where you get the chance to make your (App) Ideas come true with AI.

​You’ll vibe code your idea with AI and ship a functional app by the end of the event, even if you’ve never written code before.

​About the host:

​I’m Katja Rubin and I`m hosting this event for International Women’s Day because access to technology has changed but participation hasn’t caught up yet.

​Today, tools like Lovable make it possible to prototype and launch ideas without knowing how to code. The barrier to entry is lower than ever, yet many women still see tech and AI as something “not for them.”

​This event is meant to change that perception in a very practical way. Instead of just talking about opportunities in AI, we’ll explore what it actually looks like to build.

​The goal is simple: less talking about innovation, more building it.

​About the venue:

​This event will take place at The Social Hub Barcelona, part of a European network of hybrid spaces designed to bring together students, entrepreneurs, creatives, and local communities.

​The Social Hub combines hotel, co-working, event, and community spaces under one roof, with a strong focus on collaboration, learning, and impact-driven initiatives. With locations across multiple European cities, their mission is to create spaces where people from different backgrounds can connect, exchange ideas, and build meaningful projects.
