Beyond the Crop: Collective Action to Build Farmer and Supply Chain Resilience

​Join Terion, Walmart, and Mars Snacking for an interactive session that explores all the ‘ingredients’ needed to successfully bring landscape-scale investment to life in a specific context. Building on our existing collaboration to support sustainable rice production in Arkansas, we invite you to join this session to expand the aperture: how can we implement collaborative models to support farmers across their full crop rotation? Through an interactive exercise, participants will work through the key ingredients of a successful landscape model: farmer economics, technical assistance, financing, value chain engagement, policy, and MRV. Together, we will test practical frameworks and crowd source solutions that can help accelerate farmer resilience across entire crop rotations and supply chains. We ask that attendees be ready to ask hard questions and brainstorm solutions. Attendees will leave this session with ideas to activate new partnerships ahead of the 2027 crop season.
