In honor of five incredible years bringing together surf films, music, art, and community, the Santa Barbara Surf Film Festival is launching a brand-new event dedicated to the powerful and passionate female ocean-loving community of Santa Barbara, Ventura, and beyond.
Tides of Transformation is a space for education, storytelling, and connection — spotlighting wellness practitioners, female creators, women-led communities, and ocean advocates.

This special gathering is co-created with Ivana Bajic — Author & Producer of Nature of Surf Women, an innovative audiovisual book that celebrates women surfers through powerful photography, immersive natural soundscapes, and raw, unfiltered stories. Ivana is passionate about the importance of female communities and the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and joy. Over the past three years, she has been organizing and co-hosting events that bring together surfers, scientists, therapists, holistic healers, NGO representatives, and artists to spark meaningful conversations around community, body positivity, and ocean advocacy.
