As we slowly approach the 1 year anniversary of the GIAROC USB (a USB embedded in found rocks) we want to open up the process to those who are curious about the making. We invite you to make your very own.
BYOR (bring your own roc) or choose from a selection we’ll provide.
Process Flow:
Getting to know the equipment
BYOR* or Pick your Roc
Mark the spot
Create initial guide cuts
Carve the cavity
Embed the USB
Take it home with you!
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the workshop. Please email us you have any dietary restrictions we should know about.
*Rocks that are brought in will be inspected before starting and are subject to be rejected if there are any safety concerns.
