🐯 Paint Your Own Alebrije with Daniel
Paint something that smiles back.
Join Daniel Rodriguez Suarez (@sunny__doodles) for a bright, beginner-friendly painting workshop inspired by the imaginative spirit of alebrijes — colorful creatures connected to living Mexican artisan traditions.
This workshop is offered with respect for those traditions. Rather than replicating traditional alebrije painting styles, we’ll explore color, pattern, and mark-making through a contemporary, playful lens to create something that feels fully your own.
This is less about getting it “right” and more about embracing the process, trusting your instincts, and allowing your piece to take on its own character.
Your little creature may be imperfect... and that’s the point. It smiles back at you as a reminder that we’re all imperfect, and that leaning into that is often the easiest way to grow. 🌱🌦️
It’s a warm, low-pressure morning in the Solar Lounge for anyone craving a little color, a little play, and a little off-screen time in good company.
