Humans, familiar patterns and shapes, old African artifacts, and earth-tone structure and interior design?

Going beyond human-centered design to explore African-centered design as an inclusive and solution-driven concept within the global space.

Join us for a conversation with a diverse panel of designers with specialized areas of expertise who are ready to share effective techniques in applying Human-Centered Design within the African context and the diverse lived experiences of Africans around the world.

GUEST SPEAKERS:

Bine Moukuri is an Art Director and creative entrepreneur based in Cameroon, founder of JUJUMAKE. He develops visual worlds and campaigns that connect culture, technology, and storytelling.

Taurai Valerie Mtake is an award-winning Zimbabwean designer and visual communicator, currently based in Sweden. Specializing in typography and identity design.

Yaw Ofosu Asare is a Ghanaian designer, researcher, author, and educator based in Australia, recognized for his pioneering work in decolonial design and African futures.


Tacai Dryden is a Mental Health Designer, mindfulness teacher, and multidisciplinary creative based in the United States, where he develops innovative approaches that place human connection, emotion, and awareness at the center of experiences.
