We’re spending the afternoon learning how soap is made from scratch — oils, lye, fragrance, colour, the whole mildly scientific situation.
In this workshop, you’ll be guided through the cold process soapmaking method, from understanding the ingredients and basic formulation to mixing, pouring, and customizing your own batch. We’ll also make a body scrub to bring home.

What to Expect
This is a guided workshop, so we’ll go through the process together from start to finish.
You’ll make your own cold process soap and customize it before pouring it into its mold. Since cold process soap needs time to harden and cure, your soap won’t be ready to use on the day — patience, unfortunately, is also an ingredient.
We’ll also make body scrubs that you can bring home after the workshop.

Important Note
Cold process soap needs to cure for several weeks before use. We’ll walk you through how to store and cure your soap properly at home, including when it will be ready to unmold, cut, and use.
