​On July 1, during IVS2026 KYOTO, OpenAI and Onlab (Digital Garage) will host a pitch event for AI startups under the theme: “What should startups build in a world where AGI becomes reality?”

​Up to 12 selected teams building AI at the core of their businesses and products will pitch to investors, corporates, and ecosystem leaders from Japan and abroad.

​Applicants and finalists will be eligible for a benefit pool of up to USD 1 million in OpenAI API credits, with additional credit benefits planned from development infrastructure partners including AWS and Notion.

​In the AI era, capital is no longer only about cash. Token credits are becoming a new strategic resource for startup growth.

​Series T is a new kind of round for founders building in this AI-native era.

​To ensure a focused environment for presenters and attendees, the pitch session will be conducted in a closed-door format beginning at 2:30pm.
