Giving Meetup: Help Others More Effectively

​Would you like to make a bigger difference with the money you give to charity?

​Join us for a friendly introduction to effective giving - the idea that by using evidence and research, we can help others much more than we might expect. This is also a chance to meet others in Ho Chi Minh City who're interested in this topic.

​What we'll explore:
- Why some charities can be 100x more effective than others
- How to find nonprofits that truly make a difference
- The Giving What We Can community and how to get involved

This meetup is for everyone, whether you:
- Already donate to charity and want to learn more
- Are curious about how to start giving
- Want to meet like-minded people interested in making a positive impact using evidence-based methods
- Have questions about effective giving

​The meetup will be led by Amalie Farestvedt. She's the Community Engagement Coordinator of Giving What We Can (GWWC), a global community working to make giving effectively and significantly a cultural norm. GWWC helps donors maximise their charitable impact by leveraging thousands of hours of research to identify the most effective charities.
