Help Me Fix This with WeAreDevelopers
📍 Corgi Cafe, 9 Claude Lane, San Francisco
🗓 Wednesday, August 19 · 8:30–10:00 AM
This session’s theme: “The refactor you keep avoiding.”
That thing you know you should fix but keep pushing down the backlog — the tangled module, the architecture decision you’ve been dodging, the “temporary” hack that’s now load-bearing, or the roadmap call you keep rescheduling. Bring it. The room helps you find the first move.
Here’s how it works: bring something you’re stuck on a repo, a side project, an architecture decision, a launch plan and a room of sharp engineers, builders, and founders works it with you. No prizes, no judging, no submissions. Just coffee, bites, and people who like solving hard things. Come with a question, leave with a direction (and a few new people who’ve seen your code).
Whether you’re new to WeAreDevelopers, planning to join us at our World Congress North America (Sept 23–25, San Jose), or just want to spend a morning with good company we’d love to have you. And with a little luck, you might walk away with a free pass to the Congress.
WeAreDevelopers is the world’s leading independent developer community, connecting millions of software developers, AI builders and tech leaders through flagship conferences, content, and community experiences.
☕ Facilitated by Chris Heilmann (VP of DevRel @ WeAreDevelopers).
