discover your next favorite artist at la’s newest secret music venue. just behind abbot kinney, moss venice occupies the former home of the original, iconic winston house. hosted by venice singer/songwriter and community builder ethan buckner, westside westside sounds continues the tradition of uplifting emerging artists and strengthening la’s music scene while paying homage to the space’s musical roots.
what to expect: a hi-fi listening room environment, incredible local talent, new friends, rotating brand activations, art on display, and a vibey bar featuring both alc and non-alc tonics and bites

about karina magallon
karina is a panamanian-american artist recognized for her spanglish r&b-pop sound blending vulnerability, vibrant rhythms, and signature whistle notes. a recent winner of a hollywood independent music award, she has built a growing presence across music and media, with features in the fader, grimy goods, and latv’s latinination, as well as performances at crypto arena (national anthem), sofar sounds, the hotel café, soho house la, and nextfest la. her music has also earned sync placements with espn and bmg and has cultivated a community of over 30,000 on bandlab. across all platforms and in real life, her mission remains the same: to create music that moves people emotionally, culturally, and spiritually.
about martina armour
martina armour bridges west coast folk-pop with scandinavian moodiness, crafting songs that feel both intimate and quietly expansive. she writes with emotional honesty and vivid metaphors, tracing the space between breaking and rebuilding, moving through vulnerability, hope, and nostalgia with a clarity that lingers. carried by a raw, warm vocal delivery, her voice feels close and honest, like confiding in a close friend. her songs have found their way into film and television across platforms like netflix and hulu, and her cover of fleetwood mac’s “storms” received a personal nod from mick fleetwood. with her upcoming ep living lessons, she continues to shape a sound that stays with you long after the song ends.
about parker ainsworth
parker ainsworth is a songwriter whose work blends the tenderness of a confession with the grit of a story overheard on the side of the road. best known for his song “running for so long,” from the peanut butter falcon soundtrack, ainsworth has carved out a reputation for writing songs that feel real, raw, and dreamily familiar at the same time.
about claire king
claire king is a singer-songwriter whose music draws influence from the folk revival of the 1960s and 70s, indie folk, jazz, and soul. her sound is infused with the characteristics of artists like jim croce, labi siffre, the fleet foxes, and norah jones. with poetic and whimsical lyrics, much of claire’s music centers around her connection to nature, architecture, and personal experiences in love and mental health.
about ethan buckner
la singer/songwriter and community builder ethan buckner founded westside sounds at moss to honor the roots of venice’s iconic winston house and breathe life into his neighborhood music scene. his forthcoming sophomore LP EPHEMERA builds from the alchemy of soaring hooks and lush soundscapes that blanket his debut Treading Water (2024). Where Treading Water searches for calm in the chaos, EPHEMERA fully surrenders to life’s fragility, probing deep into grief and reckoning.
