What happens when community knowledge, entrepreneurship, technology and international collaboration come together?
Join Texas Exes Mexico City for a conversation with Richard Hanson, founder of Tejiendo Alianzas, whose work in Oaxaca has grown from a deeply personal connection with local communities into a network of initiatives focused on sustainable economic development.
Richard will share the story behind Tejiendo Alianzas and some of the projects it has developed alongside Indigenous and rural communities, universities and other partners on both sides of the border.
The conversation will explore initiatives involving sustainable social enterprise, regenerative agriculture, renewable energy and community-based economic development, including work with small mezcal producers, agave and mesquite cultivation, food security, solar technology and locally generated employment.
It is also an invitation to our community.
