The Meta-Layer Summit: Towards a People-Centered Internet

​The Meta-Layer Summit is the culmination of two years of work on the meta-layer. On Sept 16, 2024, at the Meta-Layer Initiative's kickoff, Vint Cerf challenged us to develop the Desirable Properties of a Meta-Layer (DPML) and to ground them with federated strong authentication. Vint stressed the need to bring accountability to the next generation of the web. At the summit, we will release the V1 DPML, and feature many speakers who are working on meta-layer aligned initiatives.

In-person in San Francisco and Virtual.

Contribute
We are looking for experts of all fields to contribute to the DPML. Beginning in June, we will be rewarding meaningful comments on the 0.3V DPML digital badge. Each week is new art. One badge per contributor per week.
