Not Really a Book Club is a intimate literary gathering where beautiful minds come together to share the passages of books that moved us.
What are Soul Salons?
Self Salons are soulful gatherings for curious minds, seekers, sensitives, and visionaries who long for depth and real connection. For those who believe more is possible. Who know that all real change begins within.
Each Salon is an invitation to slow down, to think, feel, and connect. To explore new perspectives, question old assumptions, and awaken to the deeper intelligence within us. We gather in conversation, curiosity, and community, to remember what it means to be fully human.
👉🏼 What is "Not Really a Book Club"?
You know when you read a page of a book that you wish you could frame or bookmark or read 20 times or read to somebody out loud because it was so fascinating? Well now's that opportunity to read it to each other.
This is not your typical book club. This is 8 to 10 curious minds coming together, 4 of whom will read aloud 3-4 pages from a book that moved them.
Whether it’s a passage that shaped you, woke you up, made you weep, or whispered something you didn’t yet have words for, this is your chance to share it.
Each reader will have ~5–7 minutes to read their selected passage (up to 1,000 words), followed by a short, facilitated group reflection. The rest of us will listen, absorb, and engage.
An evening of depth, reading, reflecting, and discussing.

A 2-hour, informally facilitated evening
Soulful sips: homemade tea, or hot chocolate
Light, healthy snacks
A space to meet thoughtful humans with shared values
All ticket fees go toward hosting costs & keeping these experiences going

✔ We need at least 3 confirmed readers to host the night, so if you have something you’ve been dying to read aloud, apply to share!
✔ If you’re coming as a listener, just bring your presence and curiosity.
Also - because this is approval-based. Even if you put your credit card details, if you are not a good fit for the class based on your answers, you will not be charged.
📍Where is it?
This gathering takes place in a cozy living room near Metro Colombia (Madrid), in a beautiful book-filled home with candles, cushions, and quiet magic.
