About Event

If you want to deepen your backbends and understand how to work on them in a safe way, this is the workshop for you.

  • Location: Zoom (I see you if you wish, optional.)

  • Date: July 30, Sunday, 9:00-10:15am GMT+2 (such as Berlin, Germany). Recording from the workshop will be available until November 1st so you can practice at any time.

  • Level: All levels. You will be guided through each step, and will receive guidance and modifications to make each pose accessible for your body.

  • Spaces are limited to ensure individualized focus.

This 75-min workshop focuses on flexibility & strength for backbends and techniques for wheel, one legged wheel, one leg to the head wheel, one legged forearm wheel.

In this workshop you will learn:
- Backbending anatomy insights
- Backbend warm up
- Active flexibility drills for backbends
- Wheel variations
- Back strengthening
- How to utilize your hips and glutes to prevent low back pain
- Stretching routine you can follow along to keep working on your backbends after the workshop (all registrants have access to the workshop recording)

FAQ

Am I too beginner for this?

No. I remember joining all kinds of workshops in the beginning of my yoga practice and they inspired me so much! We all start somewhere. The only prerequisite is a commitment to yourself, dedication, and willingness to try.

What if I can’t attend live?

If you are not able to join live, the recording will help you just as much. Recording will be available on the same day and saved until November 1st so you can practice at any time, catch up or re-do it.

Can I ask questions during/after the workshop?

Of course, I will answer your questions. I’m doing this for YOU and I would love you to make the most of this workshop & learn a lot.

Do I have to be flexible to join this workshop?

No, this workshop is for everyone from beginner to advanced, especially good for those of us starting stretching as adults. You will be guided through each step, and will receive guidance and modifications / progressions to make each pose accessible for your body.
