Story Night | FaithTech PHX
Overview
The tech industry is great at telling you what success looks like and what our stories should sound like. But God has crafted your story in a way that’s unique, fascinating, challenging, and worth unpacking in community.
Story Night is a dinner where a tech executive shares what has shaped their life — not their latest launch, but the deeper stuff. Purpose. Doubt. Faith.
This Story Night you’ll hear from Joe Hurst, Co-Founder of Veroot.com. Joe grew up around the logistics world, studied technology, fell in love with sales, and ended up building a SaaS company that serves thousands of customers across the globe. In a candid, no-holds-barred message, he’ll share the wins, the failures, and how faith shaped the way he thinks about leadership, success, and technology.
After his story, we'll create a space to share your own story and room to reflect on what you're hearing.
This isn't a church service, and it's not a time to pitch either.
It's a room full of people in tech and business (or interested in technology and/or business) having the kind of conversation that rarely happens — about meaning, about Jesus, about what it looks like to do honest work in a world that glamorizes the wrong things.
Whether you follow Jesus, you're curious about faith, or you want to explore what infusing more meaning in your work could look like — we're hosting this night for you.
Bring a friend. Bring your questions, your story. It will be a great evening together.
Hosted by FaithTech PHX, part of a global community of technologists exploring faith.
