Remembering June 25th: The Kenya Young People Want

​This edition will reflect on the legacy of the June 25, 2024 protests and their impact on Kenya’s political, social, and civic landscape. As the country looks ahead to the 2027 elections, the conversation will examine the aspirations of young Kenyans, the evolution of the Gen Z movement, and the current state of youth activism and civic engagement.

​The panel will bring together a diverse range of voices, with a strong emphasis on gender balance and representation from key sectors, including law, governance, digital rights, and civil society.
