Wearables, AI and the Ten Year Plan
Wearables are set to play a central role in the NHS 10-Year Plan - supporting prevention, remote monitoring, personalised care and earlier intervention. But turning promising wearable technology into something that is trusted, adopted and scaled in real healthcare settings is not straightforward.
This session brings together founders, investors and policymakers to explore what credible adoption looks like, and what needs to be true for wearable innovation to succeed in the UK.
The panel will include policy leads from the Department of Health and Social Care (focusing on wearables) and the Horizon Scanning Lead for Health Tech at NICE, alongside founders and healthtech investors. The discussion will focus on evidence expectations, adoption pathways, and how innovation, policy and investment can better align.
This event is co-hosted by ISL Talent and Performr.ai.
