03/10 TeamFirst Tech Session with Will Bailey (OpenAI)
Over the past few weeks, OpenClaw has quietly become one of the most talked-about developments in AI circles — triggering intense discussion across Silicon Valley around the future of agentic AI systems and personal AI agents.
To explore this in more depth, we are hosting a private TeamFirst tech session with our community member Will Bailey, a San Francisco-based Product Engineer at OpenAI.
Will Bailey is a Product Engineer at OpenAI, where he recently worked on the Group Chat feature in ChatGPT.
Before joining OpenAI, he spent several years at Instagram, where he served as the tech lead for the launch of Instagram Stories, one of the most widely adopted consumer product features in the world.
During this session he will walk through:
✅ What OpenClaw is and why engineers are excited about it
✅ How agentic AI systems work in practice
✅ What personal AI agents may look like in the near future
✅ Lessons from building products at OpenAI and Instagram
This will be a small, closed-door online discussion designed for open dialogue among engineers and builders. Particularly designed for bilingual builders working in Japan’s tech ecosystem:
