Sustainability Creatives Office Hours:
Job Interview Tips
We hold weekly Office Hours every Wednesday at 2PM CT for Sustainability Creative job seekers. These office hours are for all creatives looking to use their talents to fight climate change.
In this session, our founder and CEO, Leah Mosier will give you an introduction to job interviewing best practices, specifically designed for creatives hoping to land climate jobs.
Leah has interviewed 200+ sustainability professionals over the past ten years. She's seen a lot of amazing interviews, but also some areas where people get tripped up during the interview process.
In these sessions we'll be talking about:
Connecting with the interviewer in an authentic way
Balancing power dynamics
Responding to common interview questions
Creating your personal pitch
Transferrable skills
Key things to do to prepare that work every time
Want even more practice?
Join our 4-week Job Interviewing Program.
This hands-on program will help you nail your job interviews as a Sustainability Creative. Each week we will tackle a key element of job interviewing:
Week 1: Learn our interviewing framework for Sustainability Creatives: Pause, Heart, Mind, Ask.
Week 2: Dive into the psychology of interviewing and balancing power dynamics with your interviewer.
Week 3: Practice sharing your climate 'why' and your career journey through commonly asked interview questions.
Week 4: Practice, get feedback, and iterate on your interview question responses and learn the art of the follow-up.
👩💻 This is a live virtual program where students attend bi-weekly 2-hour sessions with their cohort. Each cohort has ~30 students and 2 full-time Instructors that are dedicated to coaching and guiding students.
